Moot Green House is not only an elegant and comfortable seaside home, but also a landmark building in historic Aldeburgh. Part of an imposing Edwardian seafront terrace, the entrance of this beautiful house overlooks the 16th century Moot Hall, once the centre of this ancient and bustling Suffolk town. The house is split into two apartments: Moot Green House is the ground floor and half of the first floor. With its stunning views it offers not only rest and contemplation but also inspiration. The property next door was the home of Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears from 1947-57 and it was here, overlooking the sea, that Britten composed some of his finest works.
